Privacy Policy

SideTally is built by Axia Fusion ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the SideTally mobile app and sidetally website collect, and what we do with it. The short version: your financial entries live on your device, we never see your bank credentials, and we collect the minimum needed to run the product.

What we collect

• Your entries. Income, expenses, trips, tags, and tax-profile settings you type into the app are stored on your device. If you create an account and enable sync, they are also stored in our database so your data follows you across devices.
• Account details. If you create an account: your email address and authentication identifiers.
• Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist on our website, we store the email you submit.
• Purchase state. Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We receive a receipt confirming your subscription status. We never see your card number.
• Usage and crash data. Anonymous events (like "entry added") and crash reports that help us fix bugs and improve the app.

What we never collect

• Bank logins or credentials. SideTally has no bank linking.
• Your Social Security number or tax identification numbers.
• Your location. The mileage log is manual entry only.
• Your contacts, photos (unless you attach a receipt), or anything else outside the app.

What we do with it

We use your data to run the app: compute your estimates on your device, sync your entries if you enable it, keep your subscription active, and improve the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.

Where it lives

On-device data stays on your device until you delete the app. Synced data is stored with our infrastructure providers under standard security practices. Emails are stored with our email provider solely to send the messages described when you signed up.

Your choices

• You can use the app without an account; everything then stays on your device.
• You can export your data as CSV at any time from Reports.
• You can delete your account and synced data from Settings, or by emailing us.
• You can unsubscribe from any email with one tap.

Children

SideTally is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will note it in the app and update the date above.
